WHO ARE WE ?

Since its establishment in 1978, we have worked with design, delivery, assembly, commissioning and training of personnel in use and utilisation of the equipment delivered to our customers.

We have always had a close and good working relationship with the salmon slaughterhouses that have given us the basis for designing and developing rational and efficient products for the industry.

Among other things, we have developed thoughts for two-part bleeding and two-part cooling. The basis for developing products such as this is that by two-parting one can feed into the mind at the rate the feeding part can receive. The fish is then transported to a separate feeding section which satisfies the correct amount of fish for production.

Sotra Maskin Produkter were the first with the following:

Stainless Steel Accumulation Track (1983) in the fillet industry with aluminum trays. We use the same construction today for two-level isopor boxes on the track.

The putting down of salmon with Co2.

Killing salmon with electricity.

Use the addition of air in the holding tank both during bleeding and during cooling.

Use water transport at the bottom of the tanks before emptying – until production.

Deliver and install palletising robots in the salmon industry.
