SOTRA TRANSPORT CHANNELS

Our transport channels are designed for the gentle transport of salmon between the production sites.
The transport channel can also be equipped with fishing distributors so that two or more production sites can be supplied from one transport channel.

The conveyor channels can in many cases replace unnecessary installation of conveyor belts.

SOTRA TRANSPORT BAND

In the salmon industry, we recommend (almost without exception) that stainless steel strips be used instead of plastic module strips.

A stainless steel belt has a greater wear resistance than a plastic belt, consisting of:
10% item
90% air

This makes the stainless steel band easier to clean. In addition, there is less danger of bacterial growth on a stainless band than a plastic band.

Coagulated blood will adhere easily to the plastic band and the company looks less clean than if it had stainless steel band.

SOTRA INCLINE BELT CONVEYOR

Our incline belt conveyors are manufactured, almost always, with stainless steel wire.

The incline belt conveyors can either be produced as a straight incline belt conveyor or as a swan neck conveyor.

The incline belt conveyors can also advantageously be equipped with high-pressure flushing under their own chamber in the transport zone.

SOTRA WORKING PLATFORMS

All of our work platforms are designed to personalise the working height of the employees.

In addition to the standing plate on the platform also have a certain movement opportunity which helps to avoid strain injuries to the employees.

All washing platforms are constructed with a tear plate to avoid water dripping to the surface.
